Our very own Tricia Lee Whitmer has a knack for wholeheartedly evoking REAL emotion from all of her clients.

Don’t be surprised to spot her around town scouting for the perfect backdrop…an alleyway with interesting shadows or an historic building with peeling paint.

Simply put, Tricia is a non-traditional photographic storyteller, with a talent for conveying visually the passion and emotions of people. Tricia’s ideal client is someone looking for an artist, not merely another photographer with a camera.

While that may mean she isn’t the right fit for everyone, she truly treasures the creative relationship and bond that she creates with her clients.

Tricia is mad about any flavor of frozen yogurt…and she hasn’t met a slice of veggie pizza that she doesn’t adore. You may find her from time to time decked out in gym attire, because a daily workout is a must. And, most importantly, to know her is to know that her son is a blessing that she thanks God for everyday. It is the love that she has felt as a mother that inspires her to shoot every session from her heart.

Kate…

Little Miss CupKate, as she is affectionately known to family and friends, is growing up. She is such a doll and so full of personality. I love the different looks that she has during this session. Each one is so unique and shows so many of her darling expressions. Kate’s mom was sweet enough to make this awesome tutu for me and now it is available for many of my clients to use. As I have mentioned to many of you, I would love to do more shoots this fall in this type of clothing. A little more casual and eclectic. I love some of the new pettiskirts that they have out there for girls with boots, rain boots, tanks, denim jackets, beanie hats, berets or cowboy hats and for my guys, I love the graphi t-shirts even layered over button downs with jeans or cargoes and of course bare feet. Just trying to change things up a little this season.
