Rain and mud couldn’t stop the Mustangs from their first victory of the season. Despite playing in a complete mud fest, the team fought hard and was determined to beat the Trojans in the Crosstown Classic. A special thanks to both bands, who preformed together, as a part of the tradition at this important game. It didn’t take long for the Mustangs to come out ahead after returning a punt for a touchdown on our first possession of the ball. DGN had a number of chances to score but the defense held strong and kept them out of the game all together. It was a great win and one that the Mustangs look forward to building on. An exciting week is in store as the Mustangs prepare to host Willowbrook for homecoming this Friday night. Go Mustangs!! HIT HARD!!!!
