What was supposed to be a rain game, turned into a nice night for football!! Friday Night Lights at Willowbrook was another victory for the Mustangs. Several key Mustangs were glad to be back on the field after suffering injuries earlier on in the season. Their eagerness to return was very apparent and had a huge impact on the game from the first play to the last. The contest was expected to be one similar to Leyden with Willowbrook sitting at 2-0 in the West Suburban Gold Conference. However, The Stangs were firing on all cylinders and walked away with a 37-0 win. Way to go guys!!!
This week will be homecoming for “The Hit Hard Gang”. As they prepare for the challenging opponent of Proviso East, you can count on a week of hard work and tough preparation, and they will come out ready to play!!!
