FUN STUFF…

Happy Monday!  How in the world can it already be November 1^st? 

Here’s what is going on in my little world right now, and just a few of my NEW favorite things which I just feel the need to share with my FAVORITE blog readers.    

I have a feeling that it’s going to be an unusually cold winter here in the Midwest, and as much as I hate to acknowledge it, IT’S HERE!!!   It’s the time of year where everyone needs to honker down and cuddle up, but  this week I am going to sit through a couple of outdoor events in the great state of Michigan before heading to my favorite Southern city to thaw out.  Let’s just say that LAYERS are a must and not just a fashion statement in this area of the country.  

 

Speaking of layers and STUNNING fashion…here is one of the most AMAZING shopping secrets that I have recently discovered.  If totally trendy and even better thrifty shopping is your thing, then you will spend all afternoon surfing this site http://www.shopruche.com.   Is their style not STUNNING?!?!?

Honestly, I would take one of everything in their store, but the shoes are simply to die for!!!   For those of you that live in Atlanta, your Anthropology, at Lenox Square, carries shoes (only certain locations have shoes) and if you happen to see this particular pair in a size 8 and they look lost, THEY ARE MINE!!!  

 And if you are looking to cuddle up with a good book, and have a GOOD OLE time, then you must make time to read this book by Lesley M. M. Bumme:

I am not sure why I am so intrigued by nostalgia and eras gone by, but there is so much truth that resonates in this book that I just couldn’t put it down.  It’s my new OFFICIAL style manual. 

 So as we enter the holiday season, may all of our days be filled with things that bring us happiness and may we all find simple ways to share our joy and put smiles on each others faces.
