I was swept away to a sort of wonderland last week when I had the pleasure of visiting San Diego. Somehow there is something about this city that completely invigorates me. Like most of you, I have a tendency to follow the patterns of a typical entrepreneur, and even though I LOVE what I do, I forget to take the time to recharge my own battery. I am slowly, but surely, discovering that a fulfilling life is a BALANCED one. This trip was full of work and new friendships, but I took the time to say NO, to get my nails done, to do a yoga class, to take a bike ride along the waterway, and all of the things that may seem like little things to most of you, but to me they were BIG steps toward appreciating life instead of burying my head in whatever new endeavor I have envisioned for myself.
