March Monday Must Haves…

It’s MONDAY and I’ve been MISSING YOU GUYS!!!  I promise I am here to stay or at least until Orlando and Atlanta, in a couple of weeks, where Spring has actually sprung, color is alive and blossoms are blooming.  Appts. are booking so e-mail me to book your Spring Session…can’t wait to see y’all.

But, for the last Monday in March, I thought I would share a few of my favorite MUST HAVES.

1. March Madness

It’s confession time…I don’t bother watching  one single regular season college basketball game, but let March roll around and all of the sudden, I become Ms. March Madness.  To say that I am a Fair Weather March Madness Fan is an understatement.  You know the type…my heart starts racing, palms start sweating, I start saying things to the TV like “rebound”, “over the back”, “use the boards”, stuff that makes the dog run and hide and that makes me sound all smart and stuff.  Anyway, if your in the mood for some action packed last 3 minutes of the game type games…don’t miss MARCH MADNESS!!!

2. Rock Revival Jeans

So, the conversation started out so innocent with a simple compliment to one of my new Dallas friends.  You know the conversation…”I LOVE those jeans, who makes them or if you’re totally hip you ask WHO’S THE DESIGNER”?!?!?  Let’s face it…I’ve been OFF the designer charts for a while, but I decided that I wanted to be hip and would put designer jeans on my LIST, and that’s where the comedy began.

Who knows “THE LATEST” in fashion better than teenagers…RIGHT?!?  So being all hip and with it, I asked my son (the teenager) to be on the look out for some Rock Rival Jeans for me.  Naturally, if you are going to ask your teenager for his help, you should at the very least get the name of the jeans right, but NO, I had no idea what I was talking about and asked for Rock Rival instead of Rock Revival.  Mom…the jeans are Rock Revival.  I don’t think there is such a thing as Rock Rival, he said trying not to bust my bubble of excitement.

So, for me owning designer jeans was both an educational and fashion extravaganza.  However, every time I wear my TRENDY designer jeans, I can now look at myself in the mirror and get a good laugh which is what makes us all REALLY ALIVE anyway!

3. Dark Chocolate ACAI with blueberry

It’s no secret, I try to eat healthy and maintain my workout schedule NO MATTER WHAT.  Apparently, not everyone knows that or maybe they do and our caterer, in Dallas, was trying to trick me with some of the latest “superfood” mind games.  By the second day, I was begging her to put these away because I had NO willpower and I was going to need to fit in my new Rock Rival jeans.  Superfood or just plain ole fancied up junk food…you decide, but don’t miss these small bites of intensely flavored goodness that are loaded with antioxidants.

4. Palm Trees

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I KNOW why everyone loves to live in Southern California.  It’s SO chill, and with sunshine and palm trees as your view every single day…who can complain or get any work done?!?!?  Here’s to a little taste of heaven and Spring Break 2011!

ENJOY!!!

Hey Tricia!

Yay you! I’m sure you’re rockin’ those Rock Revival jeans to no end! I still think about those dark chocolate Acai goodies. I came across them at Costco the other day and it was a miracle of sheer willpower that I didn’t buy a bag or four. Love those things!! Miss you–have a wonderful Spring! Hugs!
