Daddy’s Little Girl…

Today I woke up and couldn’t believe that it has been 30 years

since I have seen your face or heard your voice.

It’s no secret or surprise that there are times that I can vaguely remember the details of life with you here.

As a young girl, I must admit that I never understand “WHY”…why a young man with a wife and 3 small children…why you, and why at that time, but as I grew older, I simply became thankful…

thankful for the love and influence that is alive and well in all 3 of us everyday of our lives.

You were exceptional, and it is an honor and a privilege to be your daughter, and most importantly to still proclaim myself as  “Daddy’s Little Girl”!!!

So here’s to you…you ole Ramblin Wreck from Georgia Tech

…I am not so sure about the heck of an engineer part,

but I have no doubt that you were the best there ever was to the 3 of us.

I hope we have made you proud.

I love you Daddy!!!
