I just spent the better part of last week getting myself organized, and guess what? There’s nothing quite like the feeling of “a place for everything and everything in its place”. In the process of cleaning out the old (not all, but some) and making way for the new, I got lost in “moments” – sorting through old photo albums, visiting old dog-eared magazines and recalling a few of my favorite old books. As hard as it is to let go of things that have personal value, I kept reminding myself that letting go of the “old” allows something “new” to enter my life. It’s the experiences and not the objects, that seem to accumulate, that make us who we are.
SO…good bye Summer of 2011…I look forward to what autumn has in store. If this stunning ROCKSTAR is any indication of what’s to come, it’s got potential to be a special one!
