TriciaLee Photography Mentoring 2012 (Danielle)…

Happy Monday friends!

So I have been waiting ALL weekend for Monday to finally arrive so that I could share this post with you.  Although, let me mention that I do LOVE weekends, and the older I get I find myself seeking out quaint little towns and restaurants filled with good food and laughter, wherever I travel.  This weekend we encountered a little town that has been in my own backyard for YEARS!  It’s true that I have used their buildings and alleyways as captivating backdrops in my photography for longer than I want to mention, but Saturday night, we romped around in the revamped downtown Roswell, and I somehow saw a whole new side of this charming little place that I have seen only as scenery for so long.  If you happen to live on the north side of town or are looking to fill a weekend with great food and an electric atmosphere, please move visiting Roswell to the top of your list.  It was so nice to open my eyes and remind myself that the simple pleasures are sometimes right in front of me if I will just take the time to see them, and yes, it is always nice to just enjoy life while being together with people that you love.

Anyway, that was not a paid advertisement for Roswell, and again I digress, but without further ado…here are some of the images from my FUN, FUN, FUN mentoring session last Friday right down here on the farm.  We laughed and laughed, it rained and it shined, and somehow we came up with a few portraits that I am proud to hang my hat on.  There is something about sharing my knowledge and love of photography that keeps me inspired.  Thank you Shellie, Dana and Danielle for an afternoon that won’t soon be forgotten, and for allowing me to be just as excited about this job today, as I was the very first time that I picked up a camera.

 ENJOY!!!
