I spent 4 full days in Ohio last week…it may have been one of my most rewarding trips in quite some time. WE WORKED our little fannies off, but in the mist of all of the chaos we laughed and told stories from back in the day that I have realized seem awfully hard for me to remember.
The story goes like this
I knew Debbie in high school…we found each other on fb…I learned that she is an uber talented designer…and now we text each other and talk about how we were ALWAYS twins and this just proves our point
The ONLY difference between she and I is that she remembers every detail of our high school years and I have ZERO and when I say ZERO I mean ZERO long term memory. She keeps telling me stories and reminding me of fun times and I keep saying the same exact thing “REALLY, I think that was another one of your friends because I don’t remember that AT ALL”?!?!? I would totally think she was making stuff up, but she isn’t the only one that this is happening with…everyone that I have spent time with recently hears the exact same response from me…SO what I’ve learned is that I have a horrible long term memory, but if you want exact times and every small detail of something that happened yesterday…I’m your gal. Luckily, I have some great friends and lots of wonderful new memories that my old friends are willing to share.
Anyway, I digress and back to the current post…I moved myself right in with Debbie and her family for 4 days and most of our time was spent photographing some of her AMAZING interiors. And even though I won’t be able to share those for a while, I did sneak in a little session with her daughter, Hayley, in the upstairs loft of Vintage Scout Interiors retail space. If you are a Dayton photographer and you don’t jump on this space, which is available, then you are missing out on an opportunity of a lifetime. As a matter of fact, let’s just forget (erase that short term memory) I shared the location because I WILL be back with fresh ideas of my own very soon.
