Last week while driving to  a session and hoping that the the sun would shine, because you all know how much I adore golden sunlight in my photography, I happened to look up and notice the rays slowly beaming through the clouds.  Never has there been a time that I was more thankful to have my camera nearby.

Needless to say, I had no words, but then by chance I saw this quote on a fellow photographer’s blog and I knew that this image, which stopped me in my tracks, and this thoughtful quote were destined to be featured together here on my blog.

Have you ever been a song? See, I wanna know more than what you do for a living. I wanna know how much of your life you spend just giving. And if you love yourself enough to also receive sometimes. I wanna know if you bleed sometimes through other people’s wounds. And if you dream sometimes that this life is just a balloon that if you wanted to you could pop—but you never would because you’d never want it to stop.”
