Heading To Atlanta…

Tomorrow morning I leave for Atlanta bright and early. It is going to be a jammed packed weekend and week, but I can’t wait to get there.

My “baby” sister, who I must say is the better half of our sister unit, had emergency surgery Monday night and I can not wait to get in town and be by her side. Most people would be happy to acknowledge that she is the sweeter, kinder and gentler sister, and if you know us at all you know that it is true. My sister deserves the world handed to her on a silver platter, and I am soooo proud of her and even more proud to call her my sister. I can’t get to you fast enough, and I love you more than words can say. See you tomorrow.

In addition to being with my family, this is the BIG weekend of our N-Sight Workshop. It is going to be an AWESOME experience for both Mike and I, and for the 8 photographers that we are sharing the 2 days with. We have some amazing models lined up, a busy schedule and I know that everyone is going to learn so much.

And before I head home later next week, I have the honor of photographing the birth of my dear friends Todd and Melissa’s second child. They gave me this privilege a couple of years ago when their son, Evan, was born. It was one of the highlights of my career, and something that I will cherish always. When Melissa found out that her c-section was scheduled for the 19th, we put it on the calendar and I will meet them at the hospital at 7:45 on Wednesday morning and capture all of the amazing events of the day. We don’t know the sex of the baby yet, and I am eat up with the anticipation.

As you can see, a busy couple of days ahead. Check back next week for the details of all of my experiences.

Have a great weekend!
