Our very own Tricia Lee Whitmer has a knack for wholeheartedly evoking REAL emotion from all of her clients.

Don’t be surprised to spot her around town scouting for the perfect backdrop…an alleyway with interesting shadows or an historic building with peeling paint.

Simply put, Tricia is a non-traditional photographic storyteller, with a talent for conveying visually the passion and emotions of people. Tricia’s ideal client is someone looking for an artist, not merely another photographer with a camera.

While that may mean she isn’t the right fit for everyone, she truly treasures the creative relationship and bond that she creates with her clients.

Tricia is mad about any flavor of frozen yogurt…and she hasn’t met a slice of veggie pizza that she doesn’t adore. You may find her from time to time decked out in gym attire, because a daily workout is a must. And, most importantly, to know her is to know that her son is a blessing that she thanks God for everyday. It is the love that she has felt as a mother that inspires her to shoot every session from her heart.

the bell family…

I had a wonderful time meeting the Bell family. They were so friendly and warm, and as you can see that couldn’t have been more cooperative. With their son, Zack, only here for a couple of weeks before heading back to school at Air Force, we were pressed to try and get this session in ASAP. Karen hustled to pull together outfits (she did a GREAT job) and we got the kids up out of bed bright an early. Fred even rearranged his travel schedule so that we could make this happen. I love clients that appreciate the value in getting family portraits made at all cost. The laughter amongst the family during this shoot was so genuine, but don’t be fooled, Bailey, the family pet, was really the star. Thanks guys for a fun morning and I can’t wait to see Julie in a couple of weeks. She is going to have an awesome senior experience. Have a great summer.
