Daniel .&. Adi…

I have so much to post. After a BIG trip South (4 weddings and 15 portrait shoots), I am just a little behind on bloggging. So…let’s start a little while back and I promise to get things up as quick as possible.

This wedding was simply AMAZING. I have to be honest and admit that in the beginning, I was thinking that because it was such a HUGE production that the real meaning of the day was going to be lost. Fortunately, I couldn’t have been more incorrect. This day was filled with truly the most wonderful attention to detail that I have ever experienced (Ritz Carlton, wedding planner, lighting company, two bands, unveiling of a huge desert extravagance after the cutting of the cake, and the list goes on and on), but when the bride gave her toast I and most everyone in the place was caught with tears streaming down my face. Adi’s parents were immigrants to our country 28 years ago with not a dime to their name. They both worked hard and lived on food stamps to get their education and live the American Dream. They became successful attorneys and went on to send both of their daughters to get elite educations at Northwestern University (here in Chitown). One daughter is now a successful OB-GYN and one followed in their footsteps and is an attorney. All of that said to say that they sacrificed everything to give their daughters the best that they could and they are both now happy Americans.
So back to the speech…Adi simply mentioned that her mom had told her that she had put her heart and soul into this wedding and that if this HUGE production even showed us a glimpse of her soul that we can only imagine…

A wedding filled with pop and circumstance, but even more important filled with warmth, love, friends and family!!! So…I have about 70 images that I want to show you and I don’t want to do a slide show…so I will do it in 3 parts over the next week. Enjoy the bride getting ready!!
