Well, another summer weekend has come and gone in the blink of an eye. Things are beginning to feel more and more like FALL here…I even had to wear a long sleeve sweatshirt this weekend and with all the NFL pre-season games…I have to admit that even this “SUMMER LOVIN” gal CAN NOT wait for the kickoff of COLLEGE FOOTBALL and all of the controlled chaos that will begin to enter my world when it finally arrives…maybe living in just a little chaos is where I’m secretly most comfortable…or maybe it’s NO secret.
I had anxiously been anticipating the release of the movie “The Help”, and was first in line to see it this weekend. If you haven’t read the book…it’s a MUST read and the movie will not disappoint.
My favorite line in the movie, and I keep playing it over and over in my head, is:
YOU IS KIND…
YOU IS SMART…
YOU IS IMPORTANT…
Simple words that every child deserves to hear and believe…
These images reminded me of that simple statement…they have a way of saying to me that Little Beau is so VERY, VERY LOVED!
