The first time I met Millie’s mom, Abby, was when she gave birth to her second son and there was something about her that just made her feel like an old friend. Right then, I knew, we were destined to be gal pals for life.
As crazy as it sounds, I like to imagine that simply because I have shared so many life events with her, including her amazing wedding to the sweetest man on the entire planet, Jim, that I am somehow involved with the cuteness that is her brand new baby girl, Millie. Maybe it’s because I am spellbound by her name…it just has a way of rolling off your tongue and it is SO, SO her. And let’s face it…what’s in a name is alive and well and this one just SCREAMS “Southern Bell”, “Georgia Peach” and makes me visualize an old fashioned beauty.
Miss Millie lived up to her name, and I can’t wait to share all of the pictures from this session with you, but this one of her bodyguard stole my heart…Roxy and Millie…two peas in a pod. Again, the most unexpected shots always have a way of taking the ordinary and making them extraordinary.
