Our very own Tricia Lee Whitmer has a knack for wholeheartedly evoking REAL emotion from all of her clients.
Don’t be surprised to spot her around town scouting for the perfect backdrop…an alleyway with interesting shadows or an historic building with peeling paint.
Tricia's work has been featured online by Stampington & Company. Publications include Artful Blogging, Romantic Homes, Well Styled Homes Bed and Bath and Well Styled Homes Flea Market Style.
Simply put, Tricia is a non-traditional photographic storyteller, with a talent for conveying visually the passion and emotions of people. Tricia’s ideal client is someone looking for an artist, not merely another photographer with a camera.
While that may mean she isn’t the right fit for everyone, she truly treasures the creative relationship and bond that she creates with her clients.
Tricia believes that all relationships are a blessing. She believes that everyone is wonderful and special in a unique way. Because there is no one exactly like you, Tricia delights in creating an experience for her clients that is unique to them…and that generates a one-of-a-kind end product.
Tricia is mad about any flavor of frozen yogurt…and she hasn’t met a slice of veggie pizza that she doesn’t adore. You may find her from time to time decked out in gym attire, because a daily workout is a must. And, most importantly, to know her is to know that her son is a blessing that she thanks God for everyday. It is the love that she has felt as a mother that inspires her to shoot every session from her heart.
Hi Tricia,
I love these photos of Christy! She and her mom, Sandy are good friends of ours and she shared with me the story of the shoot. Amazing! Anytime you come back to the Atlanta area, I would really like the opportunity to work with you if you are conducting a class. You do a fantastic job of capturing the emotion in your subjects which is what I strive to do. I have a 16 year old son, Marshall, who would be a willing victim, uh, subject : )
Thank you for sharing your blog with an aspiring photographer!
Blessings,
Allison Howell
Wow – these are amazing! actually I am not even sure of the right word…artistic, beautiful, thoughtful. Christy was a great model and I think everything you shot was fantastic.
You are the rock star!
