Simply put, Tricia is a non-traditional photographic storyteller, with a talent for conveying visually the passion and emotions of people. Tricia’s ideal client is someone looking for an artist, not merely another photographer with a camera.

While that may mean she isn’t the right fit for everyone, she truly treasures the creative relationship and bond that she creates with her clients.

Tricia is mad about any flavor of frozen yogurt…and she hasn’t met a slice of veggie pizza that she doesn’t adore. And, most importantly, to know her is to know that her son is a blessing that she thanks God for everyday. It is the love that she has felt as a mother that inspires her to shoot every session from her heart.

The Ladies of Auburn…

Here’s a little Monday morning WDE post for you! To kick off your week, I thought I would share a small taste of my Sunday afternoon on campus with my BFF, her daughter and some of her BFFs.

I never had the privilege of raising a daughter and to be honest, I never really put a lot of thought into what all goes into that task, but watching and living through my BFF as she raised her two girls gave me some real insight into the challenge/reward that is involved. It’s not for the faint of heart, but the blessings are immeasurable.

If I had been given the honor of raising a little girl and knew that her future depended on my guidance, I would have wanted to be sure that she knew that in everything she did I was completely impressed by her, and in life it is okay to make mistakes. We all do, and we all need to give ourselves a break, get back up and get right back in the saddle. “Life is a marathon…not a sprint”!

These women are all about to graduate and begin their journey in life. I could tell within just a short time that each of them have some amazing achievements ahead of them and that graduating from Auburn is just the very tip of the iceberg.

YAY for strong women and BTW, for all of you guys out there ,if you happen to achieve a 14-0 season, win a Heisman Trophy, and a National Championship all in the same year, it is guaranteed that every chick, dude, grandma, grandpa, little kiddo, mom, dad, brother, sister, and maybe even a few pets WILL wear your #2 jersey. So as a tribute to the NFL draft, this week (even if they cancel the regular season), here are the ladies in their Cam Newton jerseys!!!

Also, a very dear friend of mine sent me this message/video a few months ago and I have wanted to share it with you guys. It is pretty personal and powerful for our family, and probably so many other college athletes. If you have the time to watch it all, please do. If you are curious how this relates to this post in any way, fast forward to 46:40. Yeah…I cried like a baby…I’m such a “with-it” mom like that!!!
