ASHLEY & BEN

What a great couple Ashley and Ben are. Their wedding was absolutely amazing. It was a typical spring day in Atlanta with 100% chance of showers and thunderstorms. That did not deter Ashley from having everyone proceed with outdoor ceremony plans. And believe it or not we actually pulled it off. The showers held up until the very last shot of the new couple in the garden. Everyone was relaxed and really had a lot of fun. Villa Christina is such a picturesque restaurant and held a special sentimental value for Ashley and Ben because that is the location where Ben proposed. I hope you guys had a great honeymoon, and Ashley I am glad that you didn’t have to “gator” in your Melissa Sweet gown. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your special day.

Tricia Awarded in International Print Competition

Tricia was awarded Accolade of Excellence in the 16×20 print competition in March at the 2007 Wedding & Portrait Photographers International (WPPI) convention in Las Vegas, NV. WPPI is the largest gathering of wedding and portrait photographers in the world, this year there were 10,000 attendees from 37 different countries. Print competition is about a lot more than image creation. Thanks to everyone who entered and particularly to the judges, who had to slog through a record number of entries this year.

Below are Tricia’s entries, which both received honors in the Children category.

In addition, Tricia and Mike Moreland were award Accolade of Excellence in the multi-photographer wedding album competition. A special thanks to Teresa Moreland for her outstanding design of the album.

The real “Thank You” goes to my clients, who allow me the honor of sharing in the most intimate moments of their lives. It is truly a blessing to get to call each and everyone of you my friend.

When We Stop Speeding Through Life, We Find The Joy In Each Day….

This time of year is so inspiring in Atlanta. Everything is lush and green and the temperature is just perfect with now humidity (which means good hair days, he-he). On Friday morning, the weather couldn’t have been better and it was a pleasure to capture these tender moments between mother and daughter. Elaine has been a true friend and cheerleader for my business for several years. I remember my first shoot with her daughter, Laurel, we all just laughed because she cried through the whole shoot. Surprisingly, we still came up with some amazing images. It is always great to see how much our children change and grow within such a small amount of time. Elaine, thanks for taking the time to slow down your busy day, and allowing us to enjoy the special relationship that you share with Laurel.
