Santa brought a new camera and Chandler was the first one to shoot with it. Although I ‘m willing to bet that he would never admit it, I’m pretty sure that it was a toss up as to which one of us had the most fun.
I have big dreams for this camera in 2014, but the first few shots will always be my favorites.

I’m really really thankful for the thaw out around here after a few days of extreme cold, and while I’m sure it’s cliche and could possibly sound a little fluffy I adore a winter cuddle more than the average gal.

Who doesn’t love a handsome cowboy? I can’t get enough of this chicken raising, guitar playing, puppy loving, and horse riding handsome cowboy. He is a sweetheart of a young man, and will be the one that we call when we finally get our chicken coop stocked.

My sweet neighbor host the most beautiful Christmas Eve “drop-in” every year, and it has quickly become one of our favorite Christmas traditions. Her attention to detail and southern hospitality are unlike anyone else’s that I know. We always leave thankful to know her and especially glad to call her friend, and neighbor.

What a whirlwind of a year it has been. I can’t think of a better way to wrap up 2013 than to share the precious newness that is a puppy.
